2003–2006 INFINITI FX; VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN REAR COMBINATION LAMP
Nissan has determined that on some model Year 2003-2006 Infiniti FX35/45 vehicles, the rear combination lamps fail to comply with certain requirements set forth in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No.108.
The standard specifies, among other things, the performance requirements for rear stop, tail, and turn signal lamps for passenger vehicles. One of these requirements specifies their minimum light intensity at certain test points. The rear combination lamps in vehicles subject to this TSB may not meet these requirements. This means that the stop, tail, and turn signal lamp function may be too dim when viewed at certain angles. Reduced visibility increases the risk of the vehicle being involved in a crash. To correct this Condition, Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Recall Campaign to replace the existing rear combination lamps with new and compliant lamps free of charge

VOLUNTARY RECALL CAMPAIGN 2005 INFINITI FX; CHILD SEAT ANCHOR BRACKETS
Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS 225) specifies certain requirements for child seat anchorage systems in vehicles. Some 2005 model year Infiniti FX35/45 vehicles may have rear child seat safety anchor brackets which do not meet the location requirement in this standard. This may cause difficulty in attaching some child seats to these brackets. If a child seat is not secured, there is an increased risk of injury in a crash. Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to install longer rear child seat anchor brackets free of charge.
Infiniti has determined that some 2003–2004 model year Infiniti G35 sedan/coupe vehicles and 2003-2006 model year Infiniti FX35/45 vehicles may have a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety. There is the possibility that the fuel filler hose may crack and result in fuel leakage from the hose while refueling. If an ignition source is present, a fire could occur. In addition, fuel vapor hoses may crack and cause the malfunction indicator lamp to come on. To prevent this condition from occurring, Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to replace the fuel filler and vapor hoses with new ones.
