I have an 04 base sedan and need new tires. I am a light driver and just need all-season, low noise and long lasting tires. I am thinking about the Michelin Primacy MXV4 215/55R17. I know it is H rated and not V.
Any thoughts would be appreciated! |

I'd surf on over to Tire Rack and plug your driving preferences into their comparison survey charts.
That's how I wound up with Bridgestone's Turanza Serenity model, and I've never had a tire I liked better for year-round use. |

Thanks Dan. I did hear that those Bridgstones can drop your mpg 3-4. Have you expereinced this?

Read the comments of current Serenity owners and see if they noticed anything. I saw one or two such complaints out of 206 reviews, but I would discount those as being random variations. More reviewers than that complained about them being noisy, even though the majority praised them for being quiet! The good part about having 206 reviews is that you see if there is a real trend or just somebody in a bad mood. |

I just bought 4 new tires for my G35 sedan and the tire pressure monitor light will randomly turn on (every 3 or 4 days after I've been driving 20+ minutes). Once I get home, I check the pressure and all of the tires are fine pressure-wise.Does anyone have any idea why the light comes on and if there's any way to fix it.

Make sure the monitors are still there.
If so, inflate the tires to about 42 psi and then deflate to the recommended pressure. For some reason, that works a lot of the time.
