'06 G35 Coupe - glove compartment not sealing

The glove box on my coupe does not seal all the way and at night you can see the light on inside.
The dealer says this is "normal" - I say this is bull - anyone else have this issue?

Is normal, I have seen in most of the cars. What I usually do at my dealer is add a strip of felt tape at the edge of the glove box lid. That will make up for the space.
