Smile Thank You!!!!

I bought a G35 sedan just recently and the CD player was jammed. I tried everything to get it loose with no luck. I was about to head down to the dealership when I found this video. I followed the removal procedure step by step, unjammed the player and put it all back together. It works great now! Thank you guys so much for putting up this video.

Awesome video!

One question:

Can an aftermarket head unit be hooked up to the stock bose speakers/amp? If so is there any additional equipment needed besides the usual wiring harness?

Thanks!

There is one other device that's needed to make it work properly, I can't quite remember what it is, I'll have to check and let you know later.

^ That device will work well for double DIN head units that only have speaker level outputs. If you install a double DIN head unit that has RCA outputs, you can use the Metra 70-7551 harness. http://www.installer.com/item/displa...php?it=70-7551

Default Question?

bythabay I appreciatte the videos, but I wanted to know if there is going to be any further complications with my nav unit or is it all the same? All I want to do is replace my stock HU and Guts because they went out, is it just going to be an extra plug or two in order for it to all come out? I hope you can help or somebody can..................
