2005 G35 SIRIUS problems...HELP!

I just picked up a nice used 2005 G35 6MT. I subscribed to SIRIUS today, but for some reason my radio won't activate. I called SIRIUS and they confirmed that things have been activated. I ripped apart the trunk to confirm that the SIRIUS unit was there, and it was, all hooked up. When I switch to the SAT radio on the Bose unit, it says "Acquiring," then reverts to channel 000 and keeps repeating the radio ID number. If I change the channel, the station reverts back to 000 as soon as I let go of the button. When I press one of the presets, it shows --- and says NO SIGNAL. I've reset the radio by unplugging the battery for 10 minutes. Nothing seems to work. I left the radio on the SAT setting for most of the day while driving around too see if it will activate, but no luck so far. Any ideas??

It looks like SIRIUS has not activated the unit.

Thanks for that bulletin, but it didn't help much. I'm still getting the radio ID number on the head unit. I must be missing something... I'm wondering if the antenna shit the bed for some reason. I might have to bring it back to the dealer. I'll place a few more calls to SIRIUS to see what they say.

It is possible that the tuner crapped out. Have the dealer check it out. I had a bad tuner replaced once.

If I need a new satellite reciever where do I get one? Also, where in the trunk is it located? I have a 2004 coupe with the black antenna. Anyone know why I cant tune to 184? I can only get to 183 and it reads no signal.

No signal means the antenna is being detectged by the tuner but it isn't picking up a signal. Where is your antenna mounted? If the tuner weren't detecting the antenna, it would display "antenna."

A new tuner can be bought from www.everythingg35.com. In the coupe, the antenna is located on the floor of the trunk below the left tail light.
