Currently I'm not going to be able to upload the service manual for the 2009 FX. If anyone needs a diagram please post your request here.
Thanks UPDATE: Service manual is ready to download. Subscribed members can download the manual here: http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca....php?catid=283

One more request, from what I have read from E35 Service Manual, the DRL are controlled via ECU. So, between US and Canadian models, it is a matter of program to enable or disable the DRL. Is it true for 09 FX? Any information from Service Manual that can enable the DRL on 09 FX?
Thanks in advance. |

Firstly I apologize for the late response.
This new manual it is very different than the old one and I'm having hard time finding the components. Here is what I found. The BCM (Body Control Module) it's what control the DTRL by sending a signal to the IPDM, then the IPDM turn ON or OFF the fog lamp relay. Unfortunately the BCM is program by the factory and there is not a setting that can be change to make the DTRL work. I'm not sure if changing the BCM will make the lights work. Here are the diagrams and information I found. The Figure 1 shows the headlamp items that can be change with the CONSULT III.

Thanks for the info. I guess that I will have to check with dealer service if it is possible to re-program since it requires the CONSULT III.

The only thing that may work is replacing the BCM with one that already have DTRL.

1.Remove the engine room cover (See Figure 1) 2.Remove the fender rubber protector. Keep a service area. 3.Rotate the resin cap counterclockwise and unlock it. 4.Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise and unlock it (See Figure 2) 5.Remove the retaining spring lock. Remove the bulb from the headlamp.
