Default aftermarket brake recommendation

Im fed up with the quick wear on my brakes, not to mention i always need the rotors changed as well. Has anyone here used aftermarket brakes and rotors with any success? Im looking for long life more than anything!

There are a bunch of different threads on the subject. I would suggest using the "search" button above. Try searching for threads using the terms "aftermarket brakes" or "replacement brakes".

The stock brake calipers are fine. Get aftermarket rotors and pads and you'll be fine. I have had good success with rotors from r1concepts.com and PBR/Axxis Deluxe brake pads.

I have them on my G sedan.

I installed a front pair of Brembo OEM replacement rotors (made in Italy) on a 2002 Accord, after the OE rotors warped at less than 15K miles (typical Honda). Along with Wagner Thermo-quiet pads, the brakes worked at least a well as new. Not a high-performance solution by any means, but good daily-driver brakes -- no dust, no squeal, no warpage even after 60K miles. Why can't OE brakes work this well and last this long?

On another note, I have used Wagner Thermo-quiet pads on several cars and trucks over the years. Due to their unique construcution (integral honeycomb backing plate), they do not require metal backing plates or anti-squeal compound, and they NEVER make noise. Typical cost is around $50-$70/set.

Wagner Thermo Quiet? Never heard of them. I'm about ready to need at least rears, and to check the front for sure. I'll have to track down Wagner, solid and reliable and long lasting, huh? Sounds pretty good to me.
Any other recent good experiences from others?

I have been using PBR/Axxis deluxe pads with great results and they are inexpensive.
