Lightbulb Air Intake install

Mostly everyone knows how to install an intake, but
for folks uncertain and somewhat clueless, provided is
a link on how to correctly install a CCA (Complete
Cold Air) intake for g35 coupe;
http://www.knfilters.com/instruction...080-1_inst.pdf

From my research, K&N proclaims an increase of 9.5 bhp. If
there are any other brands that offer more hp, please
notify

Thank you for the link. Where did you bought your kit? I checked the K&N site but the links to buy the products didn't work

I haven't purchased one yet, but I will soon.
Did you try by dealer search?
http://www.knfilters.com/search/dealersearch.aspx

If you prefer by phone;
http://www.knfilters.com/contact.htm

I just would not recommend buying from a 2nd/3rd
party company, due to the fact that some sites online
are nothing but phonies

Yea...weird not ordering directly from K&N. Used to looong time ago. That's where I ordered my cleaner and re-charge kit(s) when I used to run oil/cotton filters back in the day.

9bhp on our VQ35DE's with their intake? Linky to that claim please.

Figured it was going to be at the very top rpm end of things. Not where I would benefit any gains being I don't track, but thanx for the linky.

Injen does a lot of R&D with their system's and AEM popular. Try them maybe in your research. Stillen too.

As I mentioned previously, I went ahead and bought
an k&n cca. Installation wasn't as bad as I thought and
it is possible to install without taking the front left tire
off.

Watch it in deep puddles, etc during rainy seasons unless it has one of those protection valves that help water not go past that point. Otherwise hydro-lock is a very bad thing to have happen and you will hate life it it does that.
