Belts

The belts on my 97 Q45t squeals every morning when I start the engine and quiets down after a few seconds. I looked at the belts and they seem to have some cracks on them already. So I figure I have them replaced all at once.

In a 97 Q45t, how many belts are there and how often do they need to be replaced? What's the estimated costs, labor and parts?

I am thinking 3, alternator, A/C and power steering; is this right?
Any help is highly appreciated. :D

Your Q has 4 drive belts, but usually we replace only 3, because the fourth one is very difficult and it does not crack as often as the other ones. Each belt is around $25 and the labor is around 1.5 hrs. for the 3 belts. The labor rate cost is set by the shop.

Thanks for the info. Went to pepboys to have them replaced and when they check on the computer, they stated that there are only 2 belts for the 97Q.
I then went to kragen and their computer has the 97Q as having 4 belts. Guess I'll buy the belts from Kragen and have it installed by a local mechanic.

I had all my belts replaced and that cured the problem.
