Yes, I was assuming that you have already checked the fuses.

Yes, is a different unit. The amp is behind the glove box.

I am having a very similar problem, but mine is for heat not for A/C. I've never used the A/C once, and live in Washington State and it's COLD this winter.

The heater appears to be working, since on defrost heat will trickle up the windshield a bit and help out kinda, but no fan blowing at all. I replaced the relay, but not the amp itself, which I think I located. I tried downloading the service manual for my J30 from here but couldn't find where I was supposed to click or right-click to download it...

So replacing the relay did nothing. Do you think I just need to replace the amplifier, or the blower motor itself?

I was wondering if You replaced the fan amplifier and if it worked? It is getting HOT in Texas too!!! If you did replace it how much was it? My fan was intermintant a couple of times but now its not comming back on. I still feel cool or heat comming out of the vents but with no fan. What worked for you? How much was it? Thanks for any help.
