I don't have a clue. Is the owner's manual silent as to the max capacity?

I seem to recall a couple of threads that indicated 16 gb was as big as it got but it was a while ago and I can't remember for sure. Try doing a search for "flash card" or "compact flash".

Your owner's manual should list the supported CF file formats. Is FAT32 one of them? (Hint: it is)

What file format is your card - FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32? Ensure that it's FAT32. It probably is if you can see all the files on your PC. FAT32 will allow much more than 32GB.

Do you have NAV? How many folders and files do you have? The limits are listed in the owners manual. For my 08 G37 with NAV it's Folder levels: 8, Folders: 255 (including root folder), Files: 512 (Max. 255 files for one folder)

Without NAV it's Folder levels: 8, Folders and files: 999 (Max. 255 files for one folder)

I'll bet you have exceeded these limits. What you can do is get more (and smaller/cheaper) cards to resolve the file quantity limitation if it's that and not only the number of folders that you have.

Did you check the number of files and folders on your card?

Unless your MP3 files are larger than usual, you will probably reach the 512 file limit before the 4GB limit.

Also, don't create any duplicate folder names, even if they are inside different parent folders because they will not be displayed in hierarchical order. All folders, even sub folders, are listed at the same root level when displayed in the car. However, according the owners manual ( think), they will play in hierarchical order.
