Dome Light Doesn't Work in Door Mode?

2003 G35 Sedan.

Dome lights (also called spot lights in OM) won't come on when in Door mode. They work in On mode. Left/right work when "pushed" on.

Any ideas?
I unplugged the wiring harness at the light and replugged but didn't fix it.

Does the dome light work when one of the passenger doors is open? You might have a bad door pin switch on the most-used driver's door.

I'm not real familiar with the 2003, but often the map lights (left/right) are separate from the dome lights.

When my dome lights did not work, none of the other interior lights worked, except for the speedo and dash buttons. It turned out to be a bad body control module.
