Hi all,
The left side of my front bumper was recently damaged, and I was online looking for a replacement. I came across several sites selling front bumpers with the aero package and without the aero package. What is the difference between the front bumper with the aero package vs. without? I also noticed a huge price difference between the two styles. Is this the only link for removing the front bumper on a 2004 G35x? I found it under the headlamp replacement guide. http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gsed...eplacement.htm Thanks in advance, -A |

The '04 with Aero package gets the Nismo bumper which is pretty different from the non-Aero bumper. I have one on my car and think it's the better looking choice.
I believe the main difference is the venting and the size. The Aero bumper drops lower than the regular one and has 2 giant intakes with horizontal slats to direct airflow to the front brakes. If you have an Aero bumper already you'd probably know it since the Aero comes with the side and rear skirts. You can't get a non-Aero sedan with that bumper on it, it was a package deal from dealerships that came with all the skirts. If you want to put an Aero bumper on a non-Aero sedan it may look weird in profile since the front of the car would be closer to the ground (visually) than the rest of it. Infinitipartsusa.com has it listed under Accessories from their front page, here's a close up of the bumper by itself: http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/sfim...Image34966.jpg. |

The aero kit bumper is alot nicer than my regular one. Well I was able to mold out the dent with a heat gun, so it's back into shape. Now I just have to figure out how to repaint it due to the scratches.
