I recently purchased... blah blah blah. I'll get to the guts of it. Is it standard for the phone via bluetooth to only come through on the fron passenger speaker? It does it with two seperate phones. the stereo works fine ( both sides ).
In addition, I'm told that I can hardly be heard from the in-car system. HAs Anyone encountered these problems and is there any in-depth documentation ( other than the owners manual ) that clearly defines bluetooth/phone specifications? Thanks, G Varoommmmm |

It is possible that your phone is not compatible with the car. You can find more information in this site:

So... most of you guys have audio from from how many speakers? I want to determine if I indeed have a problem before troubleshooting

See... the infiniti bluetooth website makes no mention of what speakers are used for the phone. Yes, the razor ( my phone) is on the compatability list )I havent found phone audio information in any operational specifications. So, I'm coming directly to other end users to just say, " my phone reception is form X number of speakers, and it/they are located...".
Much appreciation for any and all posts. |

My voice recognition and phone audio also only comes from the passenger speakers.

I have the Treo650 and it's not listed on the compatible list; however the phone works great with the bluetooth feature. My only problem is that I only hear my conversations from the front passenger speaker. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I only get sound from the passenger side of my 2006 G35 coupe also. Y is this? I have a Verizon VX-9800. Everything else seems to work fine. Just annoying when i hear from my friends that their Lexus' bluetooth system comes out of all speakers. :x

I have a 2004 G35 coupe so I don't have this problem but 1 reason this may be happening is the sound that comes out of your phone is going through 1 speaker in the earpiece so I'm guessing the the transmission of sound is also a mono (1 channel) source and the stereo system receives this signal it processes it like most stereo systems do and sound only comes out of 1 speaker (usually the left speaker). Infinity, Clarion, Bose, or whoever may have designed the stereo system or the software for the bluetooth may have designed the stereo to send this mono signal to the passenger side of the car to make it easier to hear. I know when I'm in my car with the door closed, my leg blocks a lot of the sound coming out of the front driver's side.
This may be totally wrong and doesn't fix this annoyance, but to me, it's the only thing that makes sense. |

I was wondering exactly on how to get my
phone activated for bluetooth, but by checking the list, it's currently not featured. Would anyone know how long it normally takes for testing of phone updates? |
