both look kind of wierd to me maybe it the pic but they both look kind of short or stubby and actually if u look at them side by side looks like they are the same from the side, maybe its just me. even though i like lexus this one looks like chix car as do the new SC's. so yeah i would go for the g37, it will probably cost less and u get the 3.7 v6 yeah

In my unbiased opinion...yeah, the G37 convertible! The lexus looks too much like other convertibles and is definitely a chick-mo-bil. 3.7 vs. a 3.5...lexus still is trying to get out of its luxury car image/reputation, but is still a far way off. Infiniti is a symbol of sport sedan, and infiniti's just feel more aggresive and powerful in general.

I'm chimming in with the G-37 looking forward to getting behind the wheel. Expect a June delivery...(that's changed 3 times.)

At the risk of bringing down the hell fire, I'll say I prefer the G, but only slightly, and only because the IS looks pretty dumpy. Don't get me wrong, I love convertables, but if these are how they are going to look, they should stick to the coupes and sedans. Make them look like the British Leyland makes and models (except for those rediculous TR7's and TR8's) and I'd be much more interested. The Z4 comes close. I think I even like the 370z convertable better.

I think in a side by side comparison the G is a better looking car which will have more performance and likely have just as luxurious a feel as the Lexus. That being said I am actually with KC on not being a big fan of either car. I would prefer a nice two seater over a coupe derived four seater any day. Most convertibles are too feminine in their characteristics. I can't think of any masculine looking convertibles for under 50 grand. I haven't seen the convertible 370 yet but I don't think the old 350 did it.

Maybe when Har568 posts up some photos of his G37 vert It'll change my mind. Sometimes real life shots and reports can sway opinion over fancy promo shots.

u know what i hate is the soft tops, man that just bugs the hell out of me. makes the 350z look so ugly, but i think they are going with the hardtop on the g37 so it will look better probably.

Definitely a hardtop on the G but I'm not sure what the 370Z vert is going to come with.
