My heated seat switch for the passenger side has a burn't orange light that tells you its on. The dealer does not sell this bulb and told me that I would have to change the entire switch at a cost of $80.00 . The seat still heats so the switch is still good but the orange light is burn't. Has anyone tried to change this bulb. Is it a bulb that can be bought at an electrical store for something like $1.99.
I already bought a light for my dash clock at the dealer for $28.00 and then wanted to kick myself when I found a post on this site where that light could have been bought at Radio Shack for $2.00. Has anyone tried to change this light in the switch? Dom.C |

Great, why did you take yours apart? Did it look like a regular bulb? Did you remove the bulb while taking it apart?

It was too long ago, I can't really remember, but I think it has some tabs you can lift to take it apart.
