Cool Heated seat switch light burn't

My heated seat switch for the passenger side has a burn't orange light that tells you its on. The dealer does not sell this bulb and told me that I would have to change the entire switch at a cost of $80.00 . The seat still heats so the switch is still good but the orange light is burn't. Has anyone tried to change this bulb. Is it a bulb that can be bought at an electrical store for something like $1.99.
I already bought a light for my dash clock at the dealer for $28.00 and then wanted to kick myself when I found a post on this site where that light could have been bought at Radio Shack for $2.00.

Has anyone tried to change this light in the switch?

I have not replaced the switch bulb before, but I did took the switch apart and notice that the bulb can be replaced by itself.

Default Heated seat switch light burn't

Great, why did you take yours apart? Did it look like a regular bulb? Did you remove the bulb while taking it apart?

It was too long ago, I can't really remember, but I think it has some tabs you can lift to take it apart.

I'll take it apart this week. Thanks for the feedback.
