Exclamation Idiotic Dealers...?

Considering the fact I'm a fairly new owner of an Infiniti, it
seems as if the maintenance personnel know when and what
needs to done at specified miles.
Once I was called for an oil change at 35,000 miles, when I
only had 32,000. And just recently being to for a 42,000 mile
oil change when I now only have 33,000.
The point is make sure you keep track of what needs to be
maintained and when.
Apparentely their track records aren't so precise..

Below is a list I created for my personal tracking; you can use
it yourself too if you want.
However I'm not 100% sure if it's exact and what more needs to
be added. If so feel free to share
(microsoft format copy & paste.)

A. Oil & oil filter change is due every 3,750 miles
-Current miles: Next Due: -Current miles: Next Due:

B. Fanbelt changed every 50,000 miles

Their computers estimate the average miles you should be driving and send you a reminder card.

There should be a record in your owners manual or you can use the maintenance schedules posted on the site:

http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/maintenance.php

If you want to keep track of your maintenance and repairs online you can do it right here on the site. Just click on the "knowledgebase" tab above and scroll down to "My Infiniti". You can enter information in and keep a mileage, fuel, and service log.

No doubt our owners notice how much Infiniti charges for service, you can receive the same service from your local Nissan dealership for 50% less than what Infiniti charges. I only go to Infiniti for warranty work, that's twice in 5 years. Infiniti wanted $300 to do a trans service, I went to Nissan and had all my fluids changed including the trans service....my cost was slightly over $200. Did you wonder why we refer to the Infiniti dealerships as "Stealerships?"
