Default Issues with the new/used M35 - Not Major?

I have 4 issues.

Last night and today, my brake light went on, almost immediately after than the slip and the VDC off lights went on. Later the brake light turned off.

This morning all was fine. Then about 10 minutes into the drive same thing happened, but all lights stayed on.

Also the 'plunger'? for the fule door is broken (can still open and close the door though).

Finally the passenger side view mirror does not adjust electronically side to side, but it works fine up and down.

I have emailed the dealer to get these items repaired, any idea how long/how bad these items are?

If it matters the weather here is 40s/50s and lots of constant rain.

Thanks!

Oh, the brakes and tires are new, including new rotors too.

Brake light: Check the brake fluid level, most likely the fluid is low.
Plunger: The actuator may need to be replaced.
Mirror: Try adjusting the mirror manually and then with the switch. It may be just stuck. If still doesn't work, then you may have to replaced the mirror motor.

Thanks! The dealer (a Jag dealer) is having me take it to an Infiniti dealer (who may or may not be under same ownership).

I am out of Infiniti warranty by about 2 weeks, but still have dealer warranty - and, while I have had the car only a week, it has been great and mpg, still crappy is way better than I expected I am in high teens versus low.

Are the slip an VDC lights perhaps related to the brake fluid?

I was thinking fluid myself - but want to be sure, since the brakes are new.

Thanks again!

Is the steering wheel in the center when driving straight?

Yes it is. Does this affect or have something to do with the other issues?

No problem, the car is new to me. It all seems fine, I suspect low fluid, but I certainly be sure.

It tracks well and the wheel is as it should be.

Thanks, I simply did not immediately see the possible relationship of the centered wheel to the lights.

Thanks again.

A very pleasant update.

My dealer (a Jag/Land Rover dealer) told me to take the car to my 'local' Infiniti dealer. There are 3 dealers, but one of them is clearly closer to my house - and this one is NOT affiliated with my seller, nor where the car was originally purchased.

The car is about 2 weeks out of warranty (it is a 4 year warranty for 06's correct?).

Anyway, I gave them the list of what I consider small things to look at.

1. Brake light that goes on along with the slip/VDC off lights.
2. Pasenger side view mirror issue.
3. Loose or sliding seat (driver's).
4. Actuator for the filler door.

Well service emailed me today - said all would be taken care of, New front pads and bled/filled brake lines. New mirror, new actuator, and new rails for the driver's seat.

I have a G35x loaner that was painless to obtain, and all is right with the world.

It is a really different world once one moves up to Infiniti.

Cheers.

Sounds like your Infiniti service experience has been a good one. Please share by adding a review to the dealer section above. Infiniti service can be hit or miss and I'm sure others would appreciate knowing where one of the good dealerships is found.
