Hi all,
As far as the rumors I've heard, The new CUV is the EX35 it will be released with the VQ35HR engine from the 2007 G35 Sedan. It will make 290-300 HP, and all the technology that was discussed at the autoshow will be present, except for the liquid crystal glass roof technology and the light up headrests. Apparently they were having final production issues and opted to hold off on the roof feature.


Pricing wise the EX is supposed to have release pricing $2-3k less than the FX. I've already taken several pre-orders for this new CUV. It's going to be a hot addition to the Infiniti lineup.

I Know we're going to have ordering information in November, and there will be an introduction date in the middle to late December.

I just saw an EX today. Looks like a very nice SUV, however I'm always leering of a first year model

The EX looks very nice in magazines. Can't wait for it to come to Canada!

I saw this at the dealership today, and I thought it didn't look awkward like other people were telling. I actually thought it was a little handsome CUV. I wanted to test drive one, but the time did not allow me to. I'm sure they're a nice ride, and hope I can take it out for a spin... one day. :)

Does anyone know what the EX is based on ? If it was released in Japan before the US ?

The EX is based on the G35 platform. Rear wheel drive with all wheel drive capabilities. It is a brand new vehicle. It is not a sized down FX or an upgraded Rogue if that is what you were thinking. It was not, to my knowledge, released in Japan before North America.
