knock sensor
this regarding 97 infiniti q45 running rough, it shake, and sometimes smell gas. is this could be knock sensor being bad? i was checking the resistance of pin 2 to ground and it read like 500k but i don't have any reading at pin 4 of the knock sensor connector. it read open to me. i just thought that both pin 2 and 4 of the knock sensor connector must have the same resistance because connector is unplug. should i change the knock sensor connected to pin 4? many thanks....

not lickly the knock sensor, have u tried scanning for codes? autozzone or advance auto can do it for free. even if the engine light is not on it may still ahve a code.
