Default knock sensor

got the knock sensor code coming up on my g35 03 reg checked wiring seems ok could it be any thing else apart from the sensor it's self before stripping the engine down.No mods running on 95 octane gas.

Can't be sure if anything else that you haven't already checked. Did you check wiring visually or with a meter?

I don't think my knock sensor does it's job very well anyway, but hasn't thrown a code yet.

I have never seen a bad knock sensor on the G35, but I have seen a bunch were the rats have eaten the wire harness.

code thats coming up is p0327 low input you say it's rare for the knock sensor to go faulty.? got the ec service manual so will have to check the wiring with a meter then this time and see what i can find.thanks.

Has the tranny ever been removed and reinstalled? The dealership pinched the knock sensor wire harness doing that and shorted the wires, which caused his sensor to throw codes all the time.

found a corroded wire on the plug to the knock sensor move the wire fault clears. removing the the short bit of loom to have a proper look any body know where you can get the short bit of loom from blue plug near the cat to the knock sensor.?
