Is the engine light ON? Have you done any repairs recently?

Just by what you wrote the possible causes:

Spark plugs
Air Flow meter
Air Filter

Your vehicle is designed and tuned to run off of 91 octane as a minimum. Consult your manual and you will find that premium fuel is not just reccommended but required. You should perform a tune up and start using 91.

I agree with IlovemyFX, start by doing a tune up, or at least replaced the air filter and spark plugs.

oh yeah man defiantly run it on higher octane than 87, change the filter its not much just head to your local autoparts store, and sparks, probably belts(filter is considered a tune up )

if u dont have a check eengine light(if u do have autozone or advance auto parts scan it for u for free.) but dont change anything until u know. your best bet is to go ahead and do a tune up and take it from that, since u already need a tune up sparks, airfiler etc. also run some techron fuel system cleaner with premium fuel dont forget, and run that everyother tank. a few time to clean some of the gunk or carbon deposits
