Navigation CDs

I have a 04 I35. It has the Zenin? Nav system. Anyone have any CDs for it? Preferably for the DC area?

I'm not sure if anyone has a disc on the forum but if you can't find someone willing to sell you can try Zenrin's website at www.zenrin.com . Updates are available for your car. I think they cost about $120. Here is the link to the page:

Oh, I found Zenrin - quite fast too. But I already have a portable Nav - covers the entire US, has newer maps, is more intuitive to use (touchscreen), is nearly the same size, etc, etc.

I would Zenrin to go out of business soon at $120 per zone - Now, if they are $120 for the entire US - I could understand.

Oh, I asked when they expected to update maps, and they said fall of 08 - so the maps are about 4 years old (or worse?).

All I can ask is "what was Infiniti thinking when they chose Zenrin?"

Your not the first one to question Infiniti's nav packages. I hear Acura does this best of all.

I understand - I have heard that it is pretty good, I just can't imagine using multiple CDs (and paying for them) what I can buy a whole portable (wide screen) unit for.

I will get one or two cd's just to test it out, but I hope it's not afraid of the dark (if I never pop it up again!).

I have found zones 8 and 9 - the ones I will use most. I am looking for zones 6 and 7 - are these able to be duplicated - or are they somehow locked?

If they can be duplicated - anyone want to trade copies of 8 and 9 for 6 and 7?

The one thing apart from the braking issues and tire wear, a major dissapointment with my 04 G35 coupe, was the navigation system.
