Hello, I am new on the site. Happy to be on board. I just bought a used 2003 G35 coupe and I just love drivung this car. It is automatic and I find it very powerful. I have an issue with my passenger door window. It has an intermitten problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't work, I can hear the contact clicking away but the window does not go down. I'm assuming that it's not an electrical issue since the contact is clearly heard. Also, when it does work, If I use the switch on the driver side the window goes up and then goes down about half way down. It won't stay up. If I close it with it's own passenger door switch it stays up. Any suggestions. I also read that the system can be resetted from a reset button on the power window motor. Is this reset on both motors or just the one in the drivers door. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I kind of noticed that the motors are a common factor from other infiniti sites. Do you know if the reset buttons are on each motor or is it only on the driver side motor? Do you know why it is such a common problem? Can it be a humidity issue damaging the motor or is it because they are very low quality motors. Thanks for your time.

Thanks again for the info. So once I replace the motor, I have to hold the reset button down, then bring the window completetly down and then let go of the reset button. RIGHT. Will I have to do any kind of reset with the driver door as well since it has a switch for the passenger door?

check out my post of Feb 8 titled Driver's side window--not moving, clicking sound I explained what I did and it solved my problem. Someone else had this issue and he ended up changing his switch to solve the problem. Good luck.
