REV control-glowing warning light

Please help, on my G35 coupe 05 6M/T still shining control REV (when the motor is on).

The orange 'rev' light stays on all the time = normal.
A 'red' light below rev light will start blinking and then go solid when you reach the shift rpm you set it for on the 'c' trip odo.

You could change the RPM if you want. AS CPV said it is normal.

I am sorry for my stupid question, in my country-Czech republic-we have no Infiniti service, first dealership was open before one week and they have no manuals for G35, just G37. My G35 is freshly repaired, i bought it after crash.
So, if the REV still shining in the orange colour, it is OK? I will set it on 6000 and when RPM touch this calibre change colour on red and start blinking? Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english. Tom

Thank you very much, i think it´s only max. 5 or 6 G35 coupe´s in my country, and only one or two G35 sedan´s, it is very uniqe car. I had Maxima QX A32, 350Z coupe, still have 05 350Z 6M/T roadster and my wife has 07 FX35, also in white pearl, but G35 is my favourite car.

Yes...

Second question:
Orange 'rev' light will always be orange. There's a small rectangle 'red' light that will come on under orange rev light.
Red light will start blinking 500rpm before your rpm set shift point (meaning get ready to shift), then go solid red when you reach that set-point (meaning shift now).

hey guys, im new to the infiniti club (purchased 06 g35 coupe 6sp mat.) in january. i have a few questions for u guys cuz u seem very knowledgeable on the subject. I want to be able to play an mp3 player or an ipod in my car. I have no navigation or satellite radio but i do have the PTY/CAT function on my radio (it does nothing now). Any idea on a harness that will do the trick? thanks again guys.
