Default Vdc off, abs, brake and at check lights on/g does not start.

My G35 had a service engine soon light on the dash, service was done, and tires were also replaced. I drove the car after this and everything seemed to be fine, however, the service engine soon light was still not off. I parked my g35 at home and since I wanted the light to go away I disconnected the battery and when I tried to turn the car back on it was dead and would not turn on at all. It is not a battery problem since my battery is good. It is also not the starter. I tried pressing the vdc button right next to the steering wheel many times and the car still does not turn on. The car has been there parked over three days already and undrivable . Please advise what can I do.

You should start by checking all the fuses. It's possible that you blew a fuse or fusible link when you disconnected the battery. How do you know the battery is OK?

Hi, thanks for the help! I just found out all the fuses/fusibles are good. What can I do next? What else might be wrong?

What code do you have in the system aslo checl to see if the wipers work let me know clean the grounds remove the battery cover you will see on the neg cable to ten mm bolts remove them and clean with a wool pad, then go under the over flow tank remove the ten mm bolt and clean the ground under that this sould fix your concern if your fuses all good. did you check the fuses in the ipdm?

Hi guys,

Could you please help me figure out this problem with my g35. I removed the battery for a few days and finally I was able to start the car; now the lights that show up on my dash are VDC OFF, SLIP, and ABS. Do you guys know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Hi Jebhott,

I already had someone check the brake fluid and it is fine. What do you mean by checking the cides under the engine? what are cides? Please let me know. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The codes that jebhott is referring to can be read by an obd compatible reader. Many parts retailers will read these codes for you for free. Once you have the codes post them up.
