You should take the car to a local parts retailer and ask if they can use a code reader to check your computer for codes. There are a bunch of different things that could be cousing a problem. One possible cause (and the simplest) could be low brake fluid. Top it up so it is close to the max line.

Agree...check brake fluid level.
Funny just got off the phone with a 350Z buddy with the exact same issue and he was giving me the FYI his brake fluid level caused that.

You should follow the suggestion of IlovemyFX, other than the low brake fluid there no there common problem can trigger the lights.

Brugersss,
I had the same exact thing on my 35 coupe both the slip light and the VDC lights came on with loss of power and no accelaeration. The code I got was P1121 from the shop, they cleaned the throttle body and both lights went away for about a week but they both came back on shortly after. They recommended I take it to the dealer to replace the throttlebody, they wouldnt do it because they didnt have the computer to program the throttlebody after replacement. Im still trying to find out how true that part is... Does it need to be programmed after relacement???? If anyone has any info please post Thank |

Is not true, but the factory always recommend to reprogram the ECM after certain repairs if the there is a new program available. Try another dealer.
