Vehicle Firmware

Hey Guys,

I was looking at the firmware versions from the diagnostic screen. (I wasn't changing anything - just geeking out and looking around...) Firmware versions were listed for a number of the cars onboard systems. Is current version information listed anywhere online for reference or is it only available through the dealership and do they check it each time the vehicle is brought in for service? Are updated posted through service bulletins?
