Window Tint's
Okay guys I have an easy one for you. M35x with Black interior. Sun is killing me here (Illinois) sometimes cracking up my leather and making the inside to hot. Now that they have legalized up to 35% tints on windows all around (with the exception of the front windshield).
How much do you guys know about SRP tint brand? Any good? Says UV protection up to 99% Also do you guys think 35% would appear to dark since the inside is black or should I go with 50% (lighter tint). I want the tints, but I definitely don’t want to "thug" out the car either making it look to ghetto lol. As always, thanks for your opinion and help! George

I think the back of my FX is 35% and it is fairly dark from the outside. I've seen 50% on another car and it didn't seem very dark at all. The difference is surprisingly noticeable. I'd go with the 35% if it's allowed in your state. You're going to get maximum protection with only a little bit of a "pimped out" look. As far as the brand is concerned I would recommend calling around to a few different tint shops and asking their opinion. It may also give you an idea as to which tint shop to use unless you are plnning to do it yourself. I'm not very familiar with the SRP brand but I believe I've heard of it.

You forgot to mention your exterior color. If it's obsidian you're gonna' be considered by some as gangsta'. Live w/it!

Thanks FX for the suggestion...
My bad... the exterior color is C31 - Umbria Grey (doesnt look grey to me, but thats what the code says it is). Anyways, take a look at the picture in the photo gallery to give you more of an idea of the color.

Consider Hüper Optik nano-ceramic film. Love mine with 40% on fronts, 30% rears and back window. Black interior and Diamond Graphite (gray) exterior.

I think the tint will go very well with that color without looking "gangster".
