Unhappy Xenon Lights in 2002 QX4 Problem

One of my bulbs was burnt out in my 2002 QX4. I bought a replacement and did it my self, but it didn't work. I took the other light assembly out to see if I had put it back together correctly and now it doesn't work either. I checked my fuses and they are all fine. I am stumped. Can anyone help? also, is it possible to change out these HID lights with regular bulbs?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the bulb connections are one sided. You could try removing the bulb, rotating it 180' and re-inserting it.

I agree with IlovemyFX, and if that doesn't work check the headlight fuses.

No, the connectors are different.

Need advice on properly removing low beam headlight on 2002 Qx4. How does the wire retainer holding the bulb release? Illustration would be very helpful.

  1. Turn bulb socket counterclockwise with keep pushing, then remove it.

  1. Release retaining pin.
  2. Remove the xenon bulb.
  3. Install in the reverse order of removal. CAUTION:
    • When disposing of the xenon bulb, do not break it; always dispose of it as is.
    • Make sure to install the bulb securely; if the xenon bulb is improperly installed in its socket, high-tension current leaks occur. This may lead to a melted bulb and/or bulb socket.
