I've just noticed that we have a new member. Welcome HerziKratzi :).

My wife and I just got our 06 IFX35. It is black and beautiful and the seats are so comfortable! We love it. Trying to figure out how all of the gadgets work, etc.. I need to download an owners manual but can't seem to get permission to download from this site.? Any ideas??

Welcome to Infinitihelp.com and congratulations on the FX. I admit that I am a little biased but in my view it is one of the finest looking automobiles on the road.

If you have found the section for owners manuals you should be able to download your model year. Make sure you are not looking at the service manual section as some of that information is for subscribed members only. Downloads for regular registered members are restricted to a couple a day so if you have gotten other information you may need to wait until tommorrow. If you are having issues post up a thread in the FX section of the Forum and someone will be able to help. I only check this group section every now and then since there's not much traffic here. The FX section of the Forum has more people checking in and more often.

I got my '07 FX35 a few days ago, and I am loving it...Just got a simple question, should I be using premium gasoline only? Because I was told that regular is ok to use as well, and I'm not sure if thats correct! ~Thanks~

This question is best posted in the forums or better yet use the search function. Anyhoo, you are best served by following your owners manual. For the 07 I believe that regular is acceptable and premium is recommended to maximize performance. My advice would be to use premium or, if you use regular, add a fuel additive like techron every now and then. My personal preference is to use Chevron 94 at all times but I don't drive my FX much and I have advanced the timing.

Hello all.... looking to share and toa little shop with everyone as i work on y '01 i30 and '05 FX. Changing the battery and alternator today after the local dealer told me $600 plus just for the part. I'll keep ya posted, hope to get ictures of both up soon and some good convo going.
