Takata’s documentation is attached and is part of this bulletin.
-REVISED- 2001 I30, 2002 I35; VOLUNTARY RECALL CAMPAIGN TRANSVERSE LINK REPLACEMENT
Nissan Motor Ltd. has determined that some 2001 and 2002 model year Infiniti I30 and I35 vehicles may have a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety. On some vehicles there is a possibility that the attachment pin at the end of the front suspension transverse link on the left and right sides may break at the rear mounting bracket to the frame. This may cause a knocking sound and abnormal steering. This may result in difficulty controlling the vehicle which, if ignored, could cause a crash.
