- REVISED - 2014 INFINITI Q50 HYBRID; MIL ON WITH DTC P0139 AND/OR P0159 STORED
The MIL is ON and one or both of the following DTCs are found stored in the ECM:
VARIOUS INFINITI MODELS; INTELLIGENT KEY NOT DETECTED / ENGINE WILL NOT START
Intelligent Key (I-Key) systems on the Applied Vehicles use two (2) different Radio Frequencies (RF) that are similar to other wireless devices; 315 MHz and 433 MHz.
In the event another wireless device (e.g. aftermarket alarm system) is transmitting at the same time as an I-Key, it can interfere with the I-Key signals being received by the BCM.
2012 AND NEWER INFINITI MODELS; EVAP LEAK DTC P0442, P0455, P0456 INFORMATION
All model year 2012 and newer Infiniti vehicles have a warning indicator in the instrument area to alert the driver of a loose fuel cap.
ALL INFINITI MODELS; LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM;
This bulletin has compiled Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and Low Tire Pressure Warning System (LTPWS) information for:
Basic Diagnosing of TPMS/LTPWS systems.
Aftermarket wheels.
Inflating/deflating tires with TPMS/LTPWS sensors.
Moving TPMS/LTPWS wheel assemblies from one vehicle to another and TPMS/LTPWS sensor registration.
Radio Frequency interference causing a “No Data” (C1708, C1709, C1710, C1711) condition.
Sensor leaks.
Air pressure changes with altitude and ambient temperatures.
-REVISED- 2011-2013 INFINITI QX56; WHINE NOISE FROM ENGINE AREA
A whine type noise is coming from the Bank 2 (B2) side of the timing chain system.
• The noise is best heard from the high pressure fuel pump area.
• The noise should increase in frequency with engine speed (RPM).
• If the noise does not increase with engine speed, the timing chain system may not be the cause.
Refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnosis.
2013 INFINITI MODELS; AUTO HEADLAMPS ON IN DAYLIGHT WHEN FOG LAMPS TURNED
When the headlamp switch is set to the AUTO position,
AND
the fog lamp switch is turned ON, the fog lamps and headlamps are designed to come on, regardless of ambient lighting.
ALL INFINITI MODELS 2009 AND UP; CRUISE CONTROL WILL NOT SET AND DTC P0605 IS STORED
Improper adjustment or operation of the ASCD brake switch can cause the Automatic Speed Control Device (ASCD) to “not set” and/or DTC P0605 (ECM) to store.
If a malfunction in the ASCD system is detected, the “CRUISE” indicator may stay ON and the “SET” indicator may flash.
ALL INFINITI MODELS; LOCK/UNLOCK REQUEST BUTTON ON OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE DOES NOT RESPOND
The “Lock / Unlock request buttons” that are located on the outside door handles of vehicles with Intelligent Key can be disabled (or enabled) through either the "Comfort & Conv." settings of the Audio/Visual/Navigation system, or through the “Combination Meter settings” depending on the vehicle model, year and trim level.
2009-2013 ALL INFINITI MODELS; CLICKING NOISE FROM FRONT OR REAR AXLE DURING TAKE-OFF/ACCELERATION
Customers concern of a “clicking” noise coming from either left or right front/rear axles during take-off/acceleration.
