The following information is provided to help ensure correct diagnosis and repair of fluid leaks. All fluid leaks, when properly diagnosed, should be repaired (whether under warranty or customer pay) to ensure proper vehicle operation.
2013 INFINITI JX35, 2014 QX60; CONFIRM NEWEST TCM PROGRAM
If a vehicle that matches the above APPLIED criteria is being serviced for any reason, do the following:
a. Check for available TCM reprograming using CONSULT-III plus.
b. Perform any reprograms that are available for the TCM.
2014 INFINITI QX60; FRONT SEAT BELTS SUDDENLY TIGHTEN DURING FIRST SLOW ACCELERATION AFTER A COLD SOAK
The front Pre-Crash Seat Belt System suddenly cinches down the front seat belts (only belts that are buckled) for a few seconds and then releases them while moving forward
2013-2014 INFINITI; PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED I-KEY WILL NO LONGER REGISTER IF NEW I-KEY REGISTERED FIRST
When registering the Intelligent Keys (I-Keys) to a vehicle for one of the following concerns
VARIOUS INFINITI MODELS; HEADPHONE REPLACEMENT FOR 2ND ROW ACCESSORY DVD SYSTEM
The applied models can be equipped with a “factory installed” 2nd Row DVD system, or have an “accessory installed” 2nd Row DVD system. Before beginning diagnostics, confirm which type of 2nd Row DVD system is installed.
2013 INFINITI JX, QX56, 2014 QX60, QX80; REMOTE ENGINE START SERVICE INFORMATION
If a customer states the Remote Engine Start (RES) feature of an applied vehicle is “not working”.
ALL 2014 AND UP INFINITI MODELS; PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE FOR BLANK ECMS
Replacement Engine Control Modules (ECMs) for many newer Infiniti vehicles are now “Blank” ECMs.
2013 JX35, 2014 Q50, QX60; ONE OR BOTH INTELLIGENT KEYS LOST PRIOR TO CUSTOMER DELIVERY
If one or both Intelligent Keys cannot be located prior to customer delivery of an Applied Vehicle, refer to the applicable section of this bulletin for Intelligent Key registration instructions.
