VARIOUS INFINITI MODELS; REVISED MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Starting with the 2002 model year, some vehicle maintenance procedures have been changed from similar procedures in past model years. The revisions have been integrated into the appropriate 2002 model year Service Manuals.
1999 INFINITI I30; MIL ON WITH DTC P1320 STORED DUE TO IGNITION COIL(S)
If an applied vehicle exhibits a MIL ON with DTC P1320 stored in the ECM, the cause may be the ignition coil(s). Refer to the Service Procedure to resolve the incident.
Low-maintenance batteries used in Infiniti vehicles are not maintenance free and do require periodic inspection and servicing. This is particularly true in areas with hot climates or for vehicles with extended or extreme usage.
