If one or more DTCs listed below are found stored in Self Diagnosis, use the REPAIR FLOW CHART on page 2 to assist in diagnosis.

ALL INFINITI MODELS; REMOVAL PROCEDURE FOR SEIZED EXHAUST SENSOR
If an exhaust sensor is seized in the exhaust manifold/catalyst/front tube, perform the procedure described in this bulletin to remove the sensor and prevent unnecessary replacement of the exhaust manifold/catalyst/front tube.
VARIOUS INFINITI MODELS; WHINE NOISE / VIBRATION FROM TRANSFER CASE
A whine noise and/or vibration from the transfer case assembly when:
• Making right or left turns at slow speeds,
and/or
• Stopped, with steering wheel turned to almost full extent in either direction, and then applying slight acceleration.
-REVISED- 2001-2010 ALL INFINITI MODELS; EXTERIOR LAMP FOGGING
Customers may notice water in the exterior lamps. Customers may think that this condition is a defect in the lamp. However in many cases some amount of moisture is considered normal.
ALL INFINITI MODELS; REMANUFACTURED ENGINE LUBRICATION UPON INITIAL START UP
During remanufactured engine storage, upper engine lubrication may dissipate/disperse. Camshaft scoring or seizure may occur at initial start up unless the procedure below is followed.
ALL INFINITI MODELS; CERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT
Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement “Certification Label” or “VIN Plate/Label” may be needed.
-REVISED- ALL INFINITI VEHICLES; "D" RING RESIDUE CAN CAUSE SLOW SEAT BELT RETRACTION
Seat belt retraction of front seat belt(s) is slow, caused by "residue" build-up on the "D" ring(s), NOTE: Slow seat belt retraction, if it occurs, may result in the following incidents after the seat belt is unbuckled:
• Seat belt latch plate hanging up on clothing,
• Seat belt latch plate becoming caught in the door
