ALL INFINITI MODELS; DIAGNOSIS OF POOR ACCELERATION OR LACK OF POWER
If a customer describes lack of power or poor acceleration, perform the following checks before attempting any repair.
2011 INFINITI M56; VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
Due to a software irregularity on certain model year 2011 M56 vehicles, the Engine Control Module (ECM) may incorrectly store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC P0133 and/or P0153) for the Air Fuel Ratio Sensor and turn ON the Service Engine Soon light on the instrument panel. To remedy this potential condition, Infiniti is conducting this voluntary service campaign to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) at no charge for parts or labor.
2002-2006 INFINITI Q45, 2003 G35; SPECIAL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID REQUIREMENTS
If the automatic transmission in the new Q45 (F50) or G35 (V35) requires service, a new type of automatic transmission fluid MUST be used. The new fluid is Nissan Matic-J.

If Warranty repairs are being done on a transmission listed in the chart below, the listed fluid must be used. A claim to Infiniti for warranty, service contract, or goodwill repairs to the transmissions listed below may be denied if Genuine Nissan ATF Fluid is not used as specified by the part # in this bulletin.
