In order to meet Safety Standard 108, tamperproof caps are installed at the factory on the horizontal adjustment device of the headlamp assemblies. This is to prevent misadjustment of the headlamps. To prevent this condition from occurring, Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to replace the brake lamp switch.
Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. has determined that on some 2003 model year Infiniti G35 sedan vehicles, there is a possibility that the fuel hose connection from the fuel pump may not have been properly attached when the vehicle was produced and could come loose while driving or when starting the engine. If the connection comes loose while driving, the engine will stop running due to lack of fuel. If the engine stops running while driving, this could result in a crash. Also, if the connection comes loose while driving or attempting to start or restart the engine, some fuel will discharge from the fuel pump. If this should occur in the presence of an external ignition source, a fire could result. To prevent this condition from occurring, Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign to inspect and, if necessary, properly attach the fuel hose to the fuel pump.
